Neil Mansfield is a professional filmmaker with over twenty years experience in film & video production.
He has written and directed two feature films which have screened at numerous international film festivals: FRESH AIR (1999) premiered at the renowned Rotterdam International Film Festival, Netherlands, and was nominated for an AFI Award for Best Editing, in 1999; and, STREETSWEEPER (2007), won Best Film Jury Prize at Anchorage International Film Festival, Alaska USA, in 2008.
Neil’s latest short film, THE OWL IN THE SNOW (2010), was shot on B&W 16mm film in Alaska, in Winter, and premiered at the historic Edinburgh International Film Festival, UK, in 2011.
Neil has directed, shot & edited numerous short films and over thirty music videos on 16mm film, and has shot hundreds of hours of live rock concerts on video & HD: including Live 8 and Wave Aid.
Neil is now making another colour 16mm short film, THE GIRL IN THE SUN (2012), and is developing a number of original feature films.
